Community Honor Code & Anti-Ragging Policy

In Accordance with Supreme Court of India Directives & Karnataka Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1988

STRICT ANTI-RAGGING DIRECTIVE

Ragging in any form—direct, indirect, verbal, physical, psychological, or digital—is a cognizable, non-bailable criminal offense under Indian law and National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations. Using this independent platform to bully, harass, demean, target, mock, or intimidate junior MBBS students or any peer is strictly prohibited.Any violation will lead to immediate IP and account bans and escalation to law enforcement authorities.

1. Zero Defamation & Faculty Respect

This platform is for academic collaboration and peer support. You must NEVER post defamatory, slanderous, abusive, or contemptuous remarks about professors, heads of departments (HODs), doctors, college administrators, or fellow students. Mentions of individual faculty names in negative or scandalous contexts are strictly barred and automatically filtered.

2. Strict Patient Privacy (NMC & Medical Ethics)

As future physicians, medical ethics apply on digital commons. NEVER upload patient photographs, hospital ward videos, operation theatre media, or clinical case records displaying patient names, registration numbers, or identifiable medical features. Any patient data breach will be immediately purged.

3. Responsible Anonymous Reflections

The Anonymous Board is designed for stress relief, study questions, hostel life discussions, and candid peer advice. It is NOT an unmoderated gossip board. Posts that target individuals, spread malicious rumors, or engage in gender-based harassment will be quarantined immediately.

4. Academic Integrity & Prohibited Trade

Do not list leaked university question papers, proxy attendance arrangements, or counterfeit materials. Do not attempt to buy or sell prescription pharmaceuticals, clinical syringes, or surgical scalpels on the student classifieds.
